Lancia: Best Ever?
The guys at Top Gear decided last Sunday that Lancia was the best car manufacturer of all time. While I don’t agree with that conclusion at all, I do think they highlighted two amazing cars that are often overlooked or forgotten about, two cars that have been amongst my personal favourites, ever since I was driving matchbox cars; the Lancia Stratos and the Lancia Delta HF Integrale.
It was disappointing to see that they weren’t able to do more than potter about on country roads, seeing either of those cars in the hands of the Stig would have been fantastic. I’m still not quite sure what the point of driving that poorly made Stratos kit car around was.
I thought it’d be nice to see both cars in action, so below are a couple of videos of both cars doing what they do best. Enjoy.
